Today our last practice day. Also our weekly practice is over. We went to Boqiy Buxoro monument. Now I am going to talk about information of this place.


Bukhara, which has a history of more than three thousand years, is one of the cities that has made an incomparable contribution to world civilization. The description of this corner, which has been a place of knowledge and culture since ancient times, has spread to the whole world.

After the independence of our country, under the leadership of our President, great work was done to restore and develop national values, preserve cultural heritage, especially historical monuments, and pass them on to future generations. A number of monuments such as Kalon Mosque, Chorbakr, Ark Castle were repaired and restored to their original appearance. On the direct initiative of President I.Karimov, shrines of Sufism representatives, founders of the Naqshbandiya order, Abdulkhaliq G`iduvani, Bahouddin Naqshband were improved.

In particular, the cultural center of Bukhara occupies a special place in the framework of creative works. The 107-hectare cultural center built on the initiative and idea of ​​the President consists of large buildings - a 700-seat regional musical drama theater, an amphitheater for 2,000 spectators, and between them the "Old and Eternal Bukhara" monument.

Corridors starting from different corners of the cultural center lead to the 18-meter-high "Old and Eternal Bukhara" monument. The monument was created by Ilhom Jabbarov, a famous sculptor and an artist of Uzbekistan.

When you go up through the steps of Obida, your attention will be drawn to the golden tiles around the monument. It means that the soil of Bukhara is equal to gold. Because Bukhara has always been a place of gold. Original and pure gold deposits, yombs are found here. At the moment, not only in the monument

Hazrat Shaykh Sayyid Muhyiddin Abdul Qadir Jilani was born in the year 1079 AD (471 AH) in the village of Bashir in the Jilan province of Iran and passed away in 1166 AD (562 AH) in the city of Baghdad, Iraq. Jilani initially received his education from Abu Zakariya Tabrizi.
